A Message to Visitors
Our Family Matters!
Dear Family Member,
If you are related to John II and Harriett Raynor Fowlke, (or if you are simply just visiting this site), I have a short message for you.
The most important thing in John and Harriett's lives was their acceptance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and their life long commitment to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Something dramatically changed for the Fowlkes when they were baptized into the Mormon Church in England. They left their homeland and all of their earthly belongings and turned westward towards Utah to join with others that had likewise accepted the doctrines of the LDS church.
I am confident that each of us knew our grandparents, John and Harriett, very well in our pre-earth life. We each choose to be part of the Fowlke family. John and Harriett have a vested interest in your life. In a real sense, your successes are their successes and likewise, your failures are their failures.
After living long and very interesting lives, John and Harriett laid down their earthly bodies. They couldn't take money or fame with them, all they could take was their personal knowledge and their family relationships. The same will be true for you and me.
If you are a member of the LDS church, let me encourage you to follow our grandparents' lifelong defense of Christ. We must remain faithful and endure to the end as our grandparents have done before us.
If by chance you are not a member of the LDS church, I invite you to consider John and Harriet and their lives. You may ask yourself this question: Why have so many members of John and Harriett's family remained faithful members of the LDS Church and does this matter to me? If you will contact me, I will try to answer this question.
We are all honored to have the great heritage we have inherited from our grandparents, John and Harriett Fowlke. Families do matter and we are all part of the Fowlke family which is linked together forever.
